1880’s J. & E. Stevens Cast Iron Mechanical Bank- Pelican with Mammy

This beautiful old Pelican bank nests comfortably in excellent working original condition.  When a coin is pressed into the slot, the Pelican’s bill opens and a black person pops up and rests in the bird's mouth. 

When you close the bill, the black person lowers into the mouth.  The seams on the iron are tight and this bank is highly collectible.
