1920’s A.C. Williams Cast Iron Still Bank - Johnny Griffin 2 Face

This cast iron bank is in good condition.  The original gold paint and other accent colors show considerable loss. The two facial images are very good and the inside of the mouth does show the original red paint.  The bank is 3” tall.   

The cast iron bank is constructed of two pieces which unscrew to empty the coins that are deposited in the slot on top of Johnny Griffin’s head. This bank is often featured as a piece associated with Black American collections.
