1920’s Keystone Pressed Steel Construction Steam Shovel

This vintage heavy-duty metal toy is in good condition with all parts present and working. The toy has been used, as it should be, but given its sturdy construction, the steam shovel should be able to dig sand for another century or two.

With the boom fully extended, the toy measures 25” in length and is 12” tall at the height of the boiler top. The string wheel pulley with the extending handle to open and close the shovel bucket is in good condition. 

The toy still shows the Keystone Steam Shovel labels on both sides. The wheels are solid metal and the hubs are tight. This toy has not been repainted and the original paint has normal wear. The metal is in good condition so this is a great opportunity for a collector to repaint the toy and make this somewhat rare steam shovel a show stopper.
