1920's Ferdinand Strauss Wind-Up Tin Litho "Jenny The Bucking Mule"

This rare 10" long tin moves back and forth when wound as the farmer holds the grain pail attached to a pole in front of the mule that is bucking up and down.

When tested, the winding mechanism worked very well and all wheels and hubs are tight. There are very few flaws on the tin, but there is some minor fading and oxidation on the melons painted on the cart and some paint loss on the farmer's face.

The Strauss logos, painted wheels, donkey, and oat pail show very well. The original donkey ears and rope tail are present. This tin is a wonderful example of some of Strauss's best work.
