1930’s Marx Litho Tin Wind-Up Walking Charlie McCarthy

This classic 8 ¼” tall tin has wind-up failure and is priced accordingly. The wind-up mechanism is supposed to allow the toy to waddle walk while his mouth opens and closes. The action on the wind-up can only be experienced when you hold the doll and turn the key in the unwind direction. 

Obviously, the wind-up spring is broken. The condition of the tin is good with normal wear and tear with some paint cracking on the back side of the Charlie. The Marx logo is present.
