1930’s Sun Rubber Mickey Mouse Fire Truck

This toy is in very good shape for its 90-year existence. The axles and tires are like new and there is no missing or degraded rubber present.  Mickey’s face still shows vibrant color but the red hat does have some color fading. 

The character hanging on the back of the truck is Donald Duck and the yellow bill and Donald's face color paint is missing, so Donald is all red.  We have always been surprised on how low the valuations of old Sun Rubber Disney characters are.  In our opinion, the original Sun Rubber Disney characters are even more charming than the old tin ones.
