1930's - 1950's Poor Pete Wind-Up Celluloid Baby Doll

This highly collectible 6" tall wind-up depicts a little Black boy eating a slice of watermelon.

The celluloid figure displays great facial features and expression. The original clothing and condition of this toy are very good to excellent.

We tested the winding mechanism and the legs do move quickly when wound but the run time seemed short, and some repairs may be needed to the main spring.
