This very good condition large wood cabinet vending machine measures 37" tall, 18" wide, and 10" deep. The rare original posters on the front of the machine are in excellent condition, with the larger top one protected by clear plastic.

The machine would dispense a card with a joke or funny saying to live up the its boast  "A laugh a day keeps the doctor away" after a coin was inserted into either one of the dual coin slots. The key is present to open the machine, and the coin mechanism worked when tested.

The machine was distributed by Exhibit Card Supply. This is the only one of these machines we have seen,, and the appearance of the machine screams "Man Cave." Exhibit Card Supply was a Chicago company founded in 1901. In 1921, the company had over 5,000 card vending machines in the United States selling over 40,000,000 cards per year.

In the early 1940's, the company lost ground to most of its competition which focused on arcade games like pinball or juke boxes.
