1938 Lindstrom Sweeping Mammy Tin Litho Wind-Up Toy

This vintage toy is in beautiful condition with very few scratches or marks on the tin. We were disappointed when we tested and wound the toy and found that the winding mechanism associated with moving the broom to propel the movement coming from Mammy’s feet was not working properly and was probably in need of a new spring. 

Accordingly, we have discounted this today by 67%.  When you wind the toy now, sometimes the broom moves but not always.  For the price, this  a great toy for any collector of Black Americana to have on display.
