This vintage black telephone was said to be used as a prop in the "I Love Lucy" show but given the number of people that advertise similar style phones with the same claim of being used in the same show, with values of $500-$1,500, we have some doubt that either the Ricardo's or the Mertz's would need so many phones unless they were involved in illegal bookmaking operations that resulted in the other Desilu Production shall called "The Untouchables."

The phone is in very good condition with attached cloth covered cords and has been modified to be used with a clip-in phone jack. The phone base underside and rotary dial with number plate are in excellent condition and the center hub of the dial reads "Please Wait For Dial Tone."

For those who have never used a rotary dial to place a call, we highly recommend trying this device if you wish to reduce the amount of time you spend calling people who have nothing to say.
