1940’s - Early 1950’s Rosco Wind-Up Juggling Monkey

The wind-up mechanism works very well.  When wound, the plates spin, the tail twirls to propel the monkey in circles, the head bobs and the hat bell rings.  All original felt and cloth clothing is present but there is staining on the coat, shirts, and pants. 

The monkey’s face has some minor staining along the ridge of the nose.  Overall, we would rate this toy good with a very good for the condition of the moving parts and mechanisms causing the action of this toy.  These toys were made in Japan and working examples are becoming harder to find each year.
