1940’s FAO Schwarz Deluxe Pixie Set (16 New Puzzle Games)

Can you imagine waiting over 80 years to play with your puzzles? This FAO Schwarz box has a 16-compartment box that contains various puzzles (plastic, metal, wood, squares, skulls, etc.) that have been waiting a long time to be completed. 

The original large box (15 ¼” in depth and 3 ¼” in height) has a hinged lid that reads “Deluxe Puzzle Chest, No. 3006, The set contains a unique collection of world-famous puzzles that are entertaining-perplexing-educational. The set was sold through F.A.O. Schwarz, 745 Fifth Avenue, New York,”

The box is in decent shape for its age but there is some tearing on the edges but overall the box and the puzzles display well when the lid is opened.
