- Description
This colorful and attention-grabbing Disney litho looks wonderful with very little wear on the body or interior of the long convertible. The original Mickey is driving Pluto to pursue an adventure at the parade. Unfortunately, when we tested the wind-up mechanism, we found the main spring is in need of replacement. Turning the wind-up key does get the front wheels to move quickly, but the tension in the spring releases all at once.
The car has its original four tires that are in very good condition and the hubs are tight. The bottom tin chassis has a light coating of rust but there is no rust on any other visible area of the car included.
As a result of the problem with the main spring, we discounted the car by 50%. This is a truly beautiful and classic Marx tin that will attract attention whether you want to fix the spring to watch it move or place this great item on display.
