This porcelain sign is a sad reminder of past segregation policy in America.  Hiding from the past does not provide any answers to the wrongs caused by segregation.  Items like this remind us of how we as a nation have hopefully changed and how we as a people still need to change so the past can hopefully never occur again.

The white porcelain sign on metal does have rust stains where the screw holes were and some rust marks on the sign itself.  The black lettering on the white enamel is hard to miss.
