This 12" tall by 9" wide calendar features twelve Varga women (non-naked) dressed in what was at that time, provocative evening wear or lingerie.

Miss January (those self-important Capricorns) has separated from the spiral binding, but February through December remain bound.

The pages have yellowed after 80 years, and it appears that the calendar was used since there are some math figures showing in a fountain pen on the May 1946 sheet.

These old Varga sketches remind us how tame, when compared to today, our imaginations were after World War II.
