This 24” tall specialty doll has a painted soft rubber head with composite hands mounted on a firm cloth stuffed body. Pinky Lee was a burlesque comic and actor who hosted a variety television show in 1950. In 1954, Pincus Leff (Pinky Lee) hosted a children's television show that ran through 1955.

Paul Ruebens developed his Pee-wee Herman character from Pinky Lee. In 1957, PInky introduced America to Gumby on the Gumby Show. The doll and clothing are in very good condition with the exception of a finger and thumb that has broken off of his left hand.
