1950’s Wind-Up Cubby The Reading Bear

This Japanese vintage toy is somewhat rare because of its light brown color and tan overalls.  The fur is in decent shape and the winding mechanism works well. 

When the bear reads the metal book with pictures of other animals, the magnet in his moving hand turns the pages.  This is a fun piece to watch and display. There is some staining on the center of his overalls between the red suspenders.
