1950's Koin-Pack Prophylactic Box with 21 Unopened Koin-Pack's in Gold Coin Shells

This very rare box with twenty-one gold prophylactic coins inside sets the stage for the reason why the Natural Museum of American History recognized the importance of exhibiting latex condoms stored in round gold containers.

L.E. Shunk was the producer of these condoms and we are confident many male wallets treasured these gold coins with the hopes that one day, the coin could be used for purposes other than a water-balloon fight.

We have seen many coins like this sell for $10 each. The gold box is, in good condition with little tearing but some soiling is evident. The coins inside the box are in excellent condition, with some plastic packaging tubes for selling the coins in groups of three.
