1950's Mattel Dancing Dude Cowboy Musical Hand Crank Box

This working Mattel Dancing Cowboy works well when the crank is turned. The condition of the colorful scenic cowboy and the frontier images painted on the paper-covered stage remains in good condition with some color loss due to age, but no paper loss or tearing.

The stage is supported by a hidden metal base. The dancing cowboy is missing his holster and gun, but otherwise his clothing, boots, plastic head, and hands are complete and those items remain in very good condition.

The crank and movement of the dancer worked well when tested, but the music coming from the box is nonexistent, and all one hears is a scratching sound.

The box measures 8-1/4" in length and 5-1/4" in depth, and the box is about 9" tall as measured to the top of the dancer's hat.

Even without the musical sound, this Mattel toy will look great in any cowboy collection.
