1957 Gene Autry Clock And Horse

This working clock displaying Gene Autry slugging a bad guy is in excellent condition. The clock and horse remain mounted on the original hard plastic platform.

The platform measures 17” in length and 4 ½” in width and the highest point of the horse is 11” tall. The original sticker on the back of the clock has written “Gene Autry Prototype Clock.”

The singing cowboy was extremely wealthy when he died in 1988 and one reason for such success may have been that he set the Autry clock to wake him at 5:30 in the morning so he could gain an advantage of getting Champion the Wonder Horse to fetch the first batch of Egg McMuffins before the bad guys woke.
