1960's Cragstan Mr. Fox The Magician Battery Operated Toy with Box (Not Working)

This 1960's Cragstan Mr. Fox The Magician Toy itself appears to be in great condition with a clean battery compartment, sliding on/off switch, flawless tin litho, and beautiful fox in full magician clothing and cape. 

We could not get the motor started but we're confident that someone smarter than us can get this great toy working.  If not, for this price, the piece will make a great appearance on any shelf and can be used to revamp parts for another fox magician. 

These toys are quite collectible, and we have seen some that go for crazy prices. The box is in good shape with normal wear and soiling. The small rabbit is missing, but it's easy to create something with any small magnet that will demonstrate the magician's ability to have an object appear and disappear.
