1963 John F. Kennedy Musical Rocking Chair by Kamar with Box

The JFK doll, rocker and newspaper are in excellent condition from an appearance point of view. The complete box is in very good condition with some minor tearing on one lower side panel.

When tested, the music box that controls the automatic rocking mechanism was not working properly. We examined the music box, and when wound, it worked properly when detached from the metal rocking rod but did not work when attached to the metal rocking rod. We believe the device lacks enough torque to move the rod. 

This great doll should be in anyone's famous politicians' collection, and the historical doll, rocker, and newspaper that reads "Happy Days Are Here Again" as the lead story is meaningful. The president's suit, tie, shirt and shoes are flawless.
