This great striped Louis Marx feline measures 8" tall. When wound, the Tiger walks (via rolling wheels), spins its head, and moves two paws up and down while a purring sound is made.
The wind-up mechanism worked well when tested. In one paw, there is a bouquet of flowers. It is believed this toy was manufactured to take advantage of the popular ESSO gasoline commercials that had the tiger mascot saying, "Put A Tiger In Your Tank."
This toy is in excellent condition with little wear to the fur, metal head, feet and tail. There appears to be a small tape or glue spot in the center of the back that we did not want to remove for fear of tearing the fur fabric.
