The 6-1/4" long Louis Marx monkey has excellent colors and shows very little wear.
The fez with the name "Jocko" on it still has the tassel attached. The string and metal rings are properly threaded but the original string was replaced with nylon. The movement of this climbing monkey is excellent.
The other tin litho climbing monkey appears to have been licensed by Louis Marx to an Italian company named Alemanni.
The Italian manufacturer's markings are present, and the name "Boby" appears on the monkey's fez and shoulder plate. The string and metal rings are properly threaded.
The movement of this climbing monkey is excellent. There is some minor oxidation and wear on the tin litho but the colors and patterns still remain very clear. We would rate this climber as being in very good condition.
