The lot includes a 4-5/8" tall metal twist cap bottle of tooth powder that was manufactured by Chapin Chemical Company around 1890.

The bottle still has about two teaspoons of the original tooth powder that claimed to preserve and beautify the teeth. The bottle is in very good condition, with some edges of the original label missing.

The lot also includes a 4" tall bottle containing Benton's Original Tooth Powder made by the druggist Benton, Myers & Co. of Cleveland, Ohio. The bottle is missing its cork top (cotton has been inserted) and remains about a quarter full of the original tooth powder.

The label and bottle are in very good condition with a chip at the top stem. We believe this powder was made around 1910.
