- Description
Everyone does not need to spend thousands of dollars to experience the quality and functioning of historic mechanical banks. Book of Knowledge reproductions are worthy of having on any collector's shelf.
The first bank is the famous "Dentist Pulling a Tooth on a Black Patient." This 9" long and 6" tall bank worked well when tested. The condition of the bank is excellent. Place a coin in the dentist's pocket, push the button, and the dentist drops back to deposit the coin as the patient tips back in the dentist chair.
The second bank is the famous "Organ Grinder" bank that measures about 7-3/4" in height, 4-1/2" in width and 3-1/2" in depth. Place a coin on the organ grinder's tray, turn the crank, and watch the dancing boy and girl spin while the organ grinder drops the coin into the slot and a bell rings.
This is a replica of the Kyser & Rex bank produced in 1882.
