- Description
The 13" long green Diving Dolphin submarine from 1949 displays well and the bow menacing shark head is present on both sides as is the U.S. 52 boat number stenciled under the rotating rudders.
The paint colors and condition of the metal are in very good condition. The boat is missing the propeller that was powered by a twisted rubber band. This toy does look good on any collector's shelf.
A 1960's English-made 9" long metal submarine named Sea Wolf shows very good paint and metal condition with the original propeller and rudders present. The gold Sea Wolf name decal is present on the port side but the small front decal on the top of the bow is torn.
The clockwork wind-up mechanism that turns the propeller is missing and the red plastic tower is missing its antenna and stopper. The top side plastic rocket launcher is also absent. Never-the-less, this piece does display well and the manufacturer, Sutcliffe did a great job with the original metal paint and sturdy metal design.
