This value lot includes four mechanical litho tins: one "Gosling" swimming Duck, a walking Duck, a walking Penguin, and an egg-laying Hen.

The featured item in this lot is a vintage working China-made "Gosling" wind-up Duck that measures about 5" in length and 4-1/2" in height. This yellow litho tin is in very good condition, with decoration on the Duck's neck and wings. When wound, the wheels move, the Duck paddles with its plastic feet and the wings flap. The winding mechanism sticks at times and requires the user to turn the key counterclockwise to experience the mechanical movement.

The 1950's J. Chein tin litho wind-up walking Duck is 4" in height and is in excellent condition. When wound, the duck waddles by moving its body from side to side. The Chein logo shows well.

A 3-1/4" tall wind-up black Penguin moves like the walking duck described above. This toy is in very good condition and worked well when tested.  We believe this toy was made in Japan.

Lastly, the lot includes a Wyandotte mechanical tin litho egg laying hen. The tin is in good condition but there is some substantial paint loss on each side of the bird. The Wyandotte logo is very clear. We have placed some marbles with the Hen that simulate eggs.

When marbles are inserted into the hopper located on the head of the Hen and when you press down on the bird to compress its legs, a marble will come out of the bottom slot above the leg pedestal. The Hen is about 7" in height and 8" in length.
