- Description
The original 13/16" metal pins were introduced by Sam Gold known as the "Premium King" by Kellogg's.
One pin was included with each box of cereal. The inks used on this were susceptible to fading and ink loss, but it was wartime.
This large collection of three dozen rare pins is considered to be in very good condition. Each pin has a name like Navy Bombing Squadron, Marine Bombing Squad 43, 71st Bombardment Squadron, Navy Torpedo Squadron, etc., printed on the lower edge of the pin.
These rare, authentic pins provide a special memory of the brave men and women of the war who served this nation as a team focused on achieving selfless victory.
And let's not forget the bravery and determination of the person who ate three dozen boxes of Pep Cereal to collect these pins.
