4 - 1950's Mr. Peanut Mechanical Pencils (New)

These four unused 5-1/4" long mechanical pencils feature the top-hatted peanut man on the pencil with a gold metal pocket clip engraved with the word "Planters."

A gold bottom metal nub is mounted to the blue and yellow plastic pencil body that contains the words "Mr. Peanut" on the blue plastic. Two of the pencils have the original cellophane wrap, and one pencil has an original box.

These peanut pencils were a very popular promotional item in the 1950's.
