4-Piece Borden Dairy "Elsie The Cow" Items including Plush Toy, Miniature Rubber Elsies & Playing Cards

The Borden Dairy company invented "Elsie the Cow" as a cartoon in 1936. Elsie portrayed the wholesomeness of Borden's fresh dairy products and ranks as one of the best brand icons in America.

This lot includes a large 11" tall stuffed Elsie plush animal from the 1950's with a dense vinyl head. This stuffed animal is in good condition with some excessive fabric wear near the left bottom hoof and some seam separation on the back of the doll. The sound box that would emit a "Moo" sound when the doll is tilted is present but does not work. The pliable vinyl head is in very good condition and the original label is present.

The two 3-1/2" tall Elsie rubber bendy figures are in excellent condition and the deck of Elsie playing cards are still wrapped in their original cellophane.
