All four original photos are in excellent condition with frames. Hal Roach was the producer and creator of the Little Rascals - who were also known as Our Gang because of the comedy short films produced from 1922-1944.

Mr. Roach was also the producer of the popular Laurel & Hardy films. The Little Rascals/Our Gang films featured children behaving as children instead of like adults. The films broke new ground by portraying black children who would interact and play with white children.

The lot includes an 8x10 autographed framed picture of Gordon "Porky" Lee that contains his famous catchphrase "O-Tay!" within the autograph. "O-Tay" was wrongfully attributed to "Buckwheat" but actually belonged to Porky.

There is an 8 x 11" wood-framed picture of a famous Polynesian film scene featuring "Alfalfa" playing the ukulele to his four famous female co-stars.

There is a great 8 x 10" wood framed photo of "Buckwheat" who was played by Billie Thomas.

Finally, there is an 8x10" photograph of Jackie Cooper (only 3 years old at time) who played "Jackie" in the films.

Jackie Cooper started acting in films at the age of 3, and when he was 9 years old, he was nominated for a Best Actor in a Motion Picture for the Academy Awards - the youngest person nominated for this award. Tatum O'Neal won at age 10 for best supporting actress in the film "Paper Moon."
