Adams Chiclets Penny Gum Tin & Glass Counter Display Box Loaded with Chiclets Gum

This vintage 6" x 4-3/8" x 3-3/4" countertop box has the words "Exchange your Pennies for Adams Chiclets" written on the front side.

The display box is in excellent condition. The writing on the back panel instructs the retailer on how to make extra pennies when handing out pennies for change. The only place with a blemish on the sides of the box is in the word "Assorted" that appears on the back of the box, where the box was probably placed next to an item that rubbed against it.

There are over 100 assorted flavored Chiclet two-piece gum boxes that are included with the display. This is a great piece that many people may remember seeing by large cash registers located in drug stores, restaurants, and other retailers in the late 1940's and 1950's.
