This beautiful 9 ½” long Chevy ice cream truck was made by Ahi Toys of Japan. The friction drive worked well when tested; as the wheels move, the tin driver slowly moves his left arm to ring the bell.

The tires, hubs, wheels, bell, and driver are in excellent shape. The working stripe canopy extends properly over the driver's area and the front windshield is intact. The rear of the truck has a small hatch door that opens. There are some scratches on the truck and a small rust spot on the roof towards the sliding canopy.

All painted signage on the truck is in great condition and the bumpers and fenders are present and original. This is a wonderful truck commemorating the happy times when children used to run out onto the curb to buy their daily treat.
