Antique Lehmann Wind-Up Tin Litho Clown on Donkey Cart (Winding Mechanism Not Working)

This early 1900's German wind-up features a colorful clown riding on a very ornate donkey cart with the donkey pulling the cart.  The cart's wheels feature the images of clowns with the Lehmann logo. The toy measures about 7 ¼” in length and about 5 ¾” in height.

The winding key is under the cart and when tested, the main spring has sprung so the winding mechanism is not working.

When working, the cart's wheels propel the cart, and the clown rises and sits while pulling back and forth on the donkey's reins as the donkey appears to be trotting along. 

The clown outfit and paint are in good condition.  The donkey and reins are in very good condition.  The unique cart is in good condition with wear on the wheels and some spotting on the cart frame and metal shoulder fasteners on the clown.
