Antique Lehmann Wind-Up Tin Litho Crawling Beetle

This Lehman toy was patented in 1895 and every serious tin litho collector should have at least one of these. This rare toy is in excellent working condition. When tested, the wind-up mechanism worked well, the colorful wings flap and the six legs moved as designed. 

The tin litho paint is original with only normal wear to the paint caused by the wings flapping against the beetle's abdomen as designed. Working beetles with all the legs and wings present are getting hard to find.  This insect is a keeper.
