This 3-1/4"square wood and paper box hides a beautiful hand-painted smiling pop-up clown. We believe this box dates from the 1930's and was made in Japan.
The box, paper-mâché, and clown outfit remain somewhat fragile. The toy remains in very good operating condition. The hand-painted clown face displays some very minor paint loss.
