Antique Pre-War Roulette & Decamps French Wind-Up Automation Monkey Playing Maracas

We believe this highly sought-after rare rabbit fur mechanical monkey was made in the late 1920’s. The wind-up mechanism worked very well when tested. When wound, the 12” tall monkey rapidly moves up and down while his arms plays the maracas.

The condition of this monkey is excellent. The unique hand-painted face is almost flawless with some minor wear on the right ear. The fur is in wonderful condition. This is truly  must-have if you are desirous of owning the best in collectible wind-ups.
