This 4-3/8" diameter metal tip tray dates to around 1910.
The metal tray does have some oxidation and scratching on both the top and bottom. We rate the tray as being in good condition with the portrait of the women wearing a golden gown and red and gold brocade hair ribbon displaying some wear.
There are no dents in the tray. The black tin edging with green, gold and red lettering was designed by Charles W. Schonk Lithography in Chicago. The excitement of collecting S&H Green stamps and heading to the redemption center to receive all kinds of merchandise was special to many families.
