We have no idea who made this 13” long wagon lion cage but we do believe it is old. The wheels work well and there is a flywheel near the wheels for ease of rolling. The wagon has a slide-up tin door at each end. Inside the cage is a working wind-up lion that when wound, moves his legs up and down to display his teeth as if he is roaring.

The fur on the lion is worn and some portions are missing, but in our opinion, this ugly and rough-shape roaring lion provides support for why this old cage wagon was invented in the first place. This could be a great piece to repaint.
