Antique Wood Carved African Man With Ink Well - Excellent Condition

This piece is somewhat unusual but eye-catching.  The bearded wood-carved African man is flawless with a great painted mouth and unique glass eyes.  There is a lid that opens on a hinge behind the figure's forehead to reveal an old-fashioned brass inkwell with a cover. 

The original string of beads is still wrapped around the neck of the figure.  You may have a difficult time finding another piece like this.
