Burt Ward was born in 1945 and began his acting career playing the sidekick of Batman in the famous and popular 1960’s television show. 

Robin leads by example since the non-profit animal rescue and adoption organization called Gentle Giants was started by Mr. Ward and his wife. Saving over 16,000 dogs is indeed worthy of his often-used word “Holy.”
