In addition to being a cartoon comic strip, Betty Boop was featured in over 90 film cartoons between 1930-1939. Because of her illustrated body proportions, the Hays Code required the redrawing of Betty Boop to more modest proportions.
This lot includes Betty Boop memorabilia consisting of a 19"stuffed satin dressed doll with garter, earrings and shoes that was made in 1999 (original tag present), a Betty Boop pink scarf, two vinyl Betty Boop wallets from 2007, and a Betty Boop lanyard.
The wallets and lanyard still have the original tags and hang cards attached. All these items are in excellent condition and appear to have never been used.
