These rare autographs are in excellent condition.  Abbott’s autograph was snagged at the Kate Smith Hour television show (1950 - 1954) and below Lou Costello’s signature he wrote “I’m a bad boy”.  Abbott and Costello started in 1935 and in 1940 the comedy duo became Fred Allen’s summer replacement on his popular radio show.

In the 1940’s and 1950’s the team was off to the races making many popular comedy films that featured famous acts including “Who’s on First?”  During those years, the comedy team was among the highest-paid film stars in Hollywood.  Bud Abbott died in 1974 and Lou Costello passed in 1959.  These autographs will help keep their comedy genius alive.
