This heavy cast-iron bank is a replica of the original "Stump Speaker" bank manufactured in 1886 by J & E Stevens Company.
The bank is 10" tall, 4-3/4" in width, and 3-1/2" deep and is in excellent condition. Place a coin in the speaker's hand, press the button, and the coin drops into a satchel placed at the pedestal podium.
When tested, the bank worked well, and the tension in the springs remained tight.
