- Description
The highly collectible Donald Duck chocolate syrup can was made in the 1950's. Disney licensed Donald Duck to the Atlantic Syrup Refining Company which produced this 15-ounce can. The can is in very good condition with the bottom lid removed.
The German still bank can features over a dozen Disney cartoon characters playing in a grass field. The printing on the can "Sparkasse" refers to Germany's local savings bank system, and this can was used as a promotional item for a savings bank located in the area of Itzehoe, Germany. This 3-3/8" tall can bank is in very good condition with excellent graphics. We believe this bank was made in 1929.
Lastly, there is a small 1" pin-back button featuring Donald Duck promoting his namesake jams and jellies. This 1950's button was created when Welch's licensed the Donald Duck name for a new children's line of jams and jellies. This celluloid button is in excellent condition, and we have seen some of these buttons sell for over $150 at auction.
