Early 1900’s German Lehmann Tin Litho Wind-UP Crawling Beetle with Box

Every serious collector needs a crawling tin beetle #431 in their collection. The winding mechanism and crawling action of the legs and flapping of the wings worked very well when tested.

The colorful body under the winds and the beetle with the manufacturing markings are as attention getting as the wings and quickly flap to expose a very vibrant insect abdomen. The tin and paint are in very good condition. This beetle is one of Lehmann’s most iconic toys.
