This excellent condition German tin was patented in 1907. The tin features a clown riding on an ornate cart being pulled by a mule. When wound, the cart moves forward and backwards as the clown moves while pulling on the reins.

The winding mechanism worked very well when tested, The ornate tin litho wheels featuring colorful acrobats are in very good condition with only minor wear on the edges from normal use.

The clown has all his original clothing and his painted face displays very well. The grey mule is in very good condition with its swinging legs, long ears, and string tail all present.

This piece is approximately 7" in length and the back of the cart displays a colorful clown surrounded by the designated patent and trademark information.
