- Description
This display would have been common on the countertop of a movie theatre concession stand or a nut retailer.
The display is 14-1/4" in width, 7-1/2" in height, and 9" in depth. There is an antique hinged glass top that lifts and covers a metal tray where the nuts are held.
Under the tray is a light bulb that keeps the metal tray and nuts hot while lighting the colored glass pane that reads "They're Fresh" in bright red letters. There are three back vents in the display to prevent the nuts from getting too hot.
An original metal nut scoop is included. The overall condition of the display is very good to excellent with no cracks, breaks in the glass or metal. Scratching is very minimal. The electrical cord with the light bulb is attached.
This is a great item for any bar. Please do not eat the peanuts that comes with this display. Decades old nuts are not what they used to be.
