The paint on the tin plate is in very good condition and the clown holding the wood hammer swivels well.  There is only one music disc of the song “Silent Night” included.  The original heavy-duty wind-up mechanism is present but it appears that the main spring is broken.  This toy could not be tested as working so we have priced the item as if broken.

The Zilotone was a popular toy since there were many songs available and the action of the clown pounding the metal prongs with a hammer to emit sound was unique.  This is another great shelf piece.
